Hardly virtual is a digital environment where users can approach choreographic parameters and manipulate them as they wish. In each application there are different choreographic materials; they are always based on the 128 defined and designed movements which users can seen at any time needed. The game is activated by the choreographic score of hardly the same: a dance guide to mess up body&mind and invites the virtual visitor to experiment not only synthetically, but also verbally and design wise with the chosen material.

First of all, the website is to be considered as a place of emergence of issues of choreography and dance practice. Navigating within it, one can begin to discover aspects of choreographic design and dance function while problematizing with organization, composition, score-making, kinetic possibilities, visualization. abstract forms, memory ...

The creative game with movements is explored through the mental division of the human body into areas and thus provides the possibility for a kind of anatomical analysis. The 8 areas are head, shoulders, ribs, elbows, pelvis, wrists / hands, knees, ankles and are represented with distinct coloring of the figures depending on the reference area of each movement.

Finally, we aim at transforming and digitizing a pre-existing set of movements through different forms and versions attempting a ‘sharing’ of these objects which would be excluded from sth final piece, all that we do not show on stage.

1. Composition

In this presentation of elements in terms of game territory, the navigator can try out compositions of shapes in one or two bodies.
Here, the user can select moves from the list and assign them to the left or right digital dancing-body making a row for one or both of them. The two virtual bodies start simultaneously by clicking "play" and perform the combination of the selected movements. The respective "choreography" can be saved by selecting "save choreography" and added to the list at the bottom left. Visitors can also select previous choreographies wich have been saved either just to see them (by double clicking a choreography) or to use them as a starting point for making their own.

2. Names

This is the most interactive part of the website: the user is asked to use their physical intelligence and kinetic imagination in order to invent their own movements which satisfy the kinetic parameters and the name of each original movement. In order to do so, they can use the title list of the invented names of the 128 moves.

The names (eg "rocket") can be interpreted without any restrictions, however, we call on the interested guests to be consistent in the kinetic parameters: the reference area of the movement, its beginning, its end and its spatial-anthropometric reference depending on whether it is a "small" one or a "medium".

Pressing "record" activates the camera of each the device and allows users to record their moves and thus participate in the creation of a collective "library" of movements made based on the same data. Finally, selecting "view" displays, if any, the list of movements that have been filmed by previous visitors for each movement so as to to highlight the variety of interpretations, the different mobilizations of the bodies which translate verbal and written information.
